Azadeh Shahshahani, Legal & Advocacy Director of Project South, will speak on "Women's Bodies, Immigration, and the Grassroots Demand for Prison Abolition”. This event is co-sponsored by the Human Rights Program and the Political Science and WGSS Departments (with generous support from the President's Mini-Grants on Social Justice). It will be held during POL/WS 222 Human Rights class time, but all members of the campus community are invited to attend.
