About this Event
The session in the Professional Success in Public Health series focuses on transferable skills developed throughout the Public Health major and minor curricula. We will provide an overview of the key skills for professional success developed in the PH major and minor, and discuss ways that those skills can be applied to careers outside of public health. Alumnae who have gone on to work in fields other than public health (e.g., consulting, computer science, marketing, banking, medicine, nursing…) will talk about the ways that they use skills developed in their public health courses in their current careers.
This session is open to all students, regardless of major or minor, but will likely be most helpful for those considering declaring a PH major or minor, current PH majors and minors, and students from other majors who are considering graduate study in Public Health.
