Come hear alumnae speak about their experiences with the CDC's Public Health Associate Program (PHAP). PHAP is a competitive, two-year, paid training program with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This program is specifically for early-career professionals who have a recent college degree and are interested in public health and service. Associates are assigned to state, tribal, local, and territorial public health agencies and nongovernmental organizations. They work alongside other professionals across a variety of public health settings.Alumnae will also give tips for creating a strong usajobs.gov application for this program. The PHAP deadline is typically in January. Students from all majors with an interest in health and public service are encouraged to attend this session. You do not need to have majored in Public Health, or even have taken any Public Health courses, to be eligible for this program.
