DESCRIPTION:Join us for a field day at the Soil Regeneration Site! While yo
 u won't be running relay races\, you will be joining with sustainability-m
 inded folks to help cultivate native species in the Soil Health Research P
 lot. The area is located just  south of Bullock Science Center (the field 
 between Woodruff Athletic Center and the tennis courts). Depending on the 
 weather\, volunteers may be:\n- planting seeds (directly or in trays) and 
 transplants\n- raking mulch & managing weeds\n- researching information\n-
  designing bioswales and other landscape features\n- collecting data on so
 il\, insects\, plants\, and/or birds\n- talking with community members abo
 ut the project\nGloves and tools will be provided.  Join for 30 minutes or
  the whole time! Students can sign up on ScottiesServe to receive voluntee
 r credit hours.
