Scotties, are you interested in a one-day opportunity to analyze heat data from monitors on campus and around the City of Decatur and think about local climate solutions?
Join the Agnes Scott and City of Decatur Climate Resilience Plan Task Force members from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 4th, to engage in real-world data heat and soil data analysis from temperature, humidity, and moisture sensors in and around campus. You will gain skills utilizing R and GIS while thinking about how we can use and communicate these data with the broader community. You will also engage in conversations with city managers and local sustainability leaders. You will present your data and ideas to our Decatur and Agnes Community members. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to use these collected and analyzed data to create a research poster presented at this year’s SpARC.
