Python is a general-purpose programming language, ideal for beginning programmers. The most popular applications are: Data Analysis, Web Development, Scripting, Embedded Programming, and Scientific Computing. In this activity-based class, students will learn the fundamentals of Python programming using the open source textbook, Foundations of Python Programming. Students will learn the essentials of Python, and will have the training and resources to continue learning independently at the end of the Bootcamp.

Who: The Python Programming Bootcamp is open to anyone with an interest in learning Python basics, and no previous programming experience is required. Graduate students in Applied Technology and Data Visualization are encouraged to attend. All forward thinkers are welcome!
