The Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion is excited to engage with faculty and staff at this event taking place on March 26th at 1pm in the Alumnae ALUM-Tea Room. Sometimes we hide from our truths. Whether the hiding is deliberate or subconscious, it refuses us access to a vital part of ourselves. Honing our power as storytellers requires intentional acts of revealing. In this Think Live Engage session, we will excavate our personal truths: What are they and how do we pull them forward, validate them, and craft them into stories that serve ourselves and our communities? To approach these questions, we will study artists across disciplines, observing how personal truth is wielded for resistance and change. With these examples in mind, we will write in response to prompts that ask us to embrace our power.
