The departments of Classics, Philosophy, and English welcome Donna Zuckerberg, author of Not All Dead White Men and founder and editor-in-chief of the journal Eidolon, for a virtual talk that critically deconstructs and examines the living history of white supremacist/misogynist appropriation of the classics. Followed by an interactive panel, participants will examine the role of race, culture, and gender across liberal arts disciplines and explore the implications for their identity as leaders. Her talk will be followed by a panel featuring Hal Thorsrud (Philosophy), Maryam Jerningan-Noesi (Psychology), Robert Meyer-Lee (English), and Stacey-Dutton (Neuroscience).
