#arts&cultureThe Department of History welcomes Kathryn Gin Lum, Associate Professor in the Religious Studies and History Departments at Stanford University to discuss her her latest book, "Heathen: Race & Religion in American History". This talk shows how the religious idea of the heathen in need of salvation undergirds American conceptions of race.
