Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM) is a nonprofit within walking distance from campus that helps families facing homelessness settle into safe, stable homes and build healthy lives filled with peace, hope and opportunity. DCM celebrates the diversity of their staff, clients, and community members, welcoming people of all races, faith traditions, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, abilities, ages, and backgrounds. They are committed to creating spaces that are inclusive, respectful, and supportive, where each person’s unique experience and perspectives help them better serve their mission and community.

DCM is seeking students and soon-to-be grads who want to support the families they serve through part or full-time paid positions, unpaid internships or volunteering. (Students may be eligible for internship funding through Agnes Scott College.)
