The Office of Accessible Education at Agnes Scott College is committed to providing support, services, and resources to students with varying disabilities, including psychological, medical, physical, or learning-specific needs. Interfacing with other departments and offices to promote access and inclusion across all aspects of campus life is a consistent practice by the Office of Accessible Education. To demonstrate self-accountability and model inclusive behaviors, the Office of Accessible Education has partnered with accessibility allies to discuss inclusive considerations that demonstrate value and care, particularly when participants gain access to multimodal media resources. Academics, organization leaders, and stakeholders benefit from education and collaboration on inclusive practices to ensure that individuals of diverse groups and ability levels are considered, from conception to execution of events and service offering across campus.
