Dr. Elena Dorozhkina will perform a recital of some recognized and “hidden gems” piano pieces by significant Russian composers of the 19th and early 20th century. The performance will include a short lecture about each composer and their pieces. Russian-American pianist, Dr. Elena Dorozhkina has performed solo and collaborative recitals at halls of USA, Germany, Czech, and Russia. Elena has graduated from the renowned Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory, Russia and earned her DMA from the University of North Texas, the USA. Dr. Dorozhkina is an artist-affiliate at Agnes Scott College.
