Campus Quads Patios & Parking Lots, The George and Irene K. Woodruff Quadrangle

Family, friends and members of the campus community are invited to to honor our seniors with a special investiture ceremony. Senior Investiture, which originated in English universities, is one the college’s oldest traditions. The college's ceremony will consist of a parade featuring the senior class wearing their academic mortarboards (caps) and gowns followed by welcoming remarks by President Leocadia I. Zak and a message from their chosen professor. 

Event Timeline: 

  • 10:00 am   Parade on the Woodruff Quadrangle (time is approximate)

  • 11:00 am   Message from Senior Investiture Speaker in Presser Hall

  • 11:30 am   Picnic Lunch on the Woodruff Quadrangle (Guests click here for meal ticket details)
