Join McCain Library and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology for a lively conversation between Atlanta author Katie Mitchell and Professor Enkeshi El-Amin about Mitchell's new book, Prose to the People: A Celebration of Black Bookstores, which comes out on April 8. Katie Mitchell is a storyteller and bookseller based in Atlanta, founder of the pop-up and online bookstore Good Books, and a Dorothy Porter Wesley Fellow. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, on NPR, PBS, and more. Dr. Enkeshi El-Amin is co-hosting the event.
