Belonging does not just include the positive moments when we feel that we belong. It’s an experience that encompasses the ups and downs, those moments when we belong and when we don’t belong, and those moments that we want to belong or may not want to belong. Visual storytelling is a powerful way for us to express and connect with others about these nuanced and complex feelings of belonging. During AANHPI heritage month we invite you to share your stories of belonging at Agnes Scott through your own photos. 🍽️💬 Join us for a reception on April 28th 6-8pm at the McCain Library Terrace to learn about the inspiration behind this event, listen to exhibitors talk about their photos, and engage in conversation over dinner. The formal program will begin at 6:30pm. 📸 All students, staff, and faculty are welcome to submit photos (and a brief written description) to be exhibited April 14 to May 2 in McCain Library Main Reading Room. We invite everyone to share their reactions to photos via sticky notes as a way to connect and be in community.
