3D Printer Workshop

Do you know about the 3D printer?

While the Department of Physics and Astronomy has had a 3D printer for the past 4 years, most people don't know about it!  It has made components for the buzzer system now in use at the Scottie Math Bowl, structures for electronics projects, and many little Scottie dogs.  While it faced some challenges over the past year, ASC Alumna Aysha Rahman ('19) has now gotten it functioning better than ever.

Come learn how to use it in a workshop on Friday November 15th at 2 PM, in the Science Center room 102W.  This hour-long workshop will cover the basics of how this printer functions, where to find/make 3D objects, and how to set up a print.  Printing is free and open to use by all - for fun or for college-related work.  Initially supervision is required.  Come to the workshop to learn more, or contact Dr. Ackerman at nackerman@agnesscott.edu.
