THE SARAH HAMILTON LEATHERS `53 & LEONE BOWERS
HAMILTON `26 ARTS LECTURE SERIES FUND was established by Mr. James Leathers in honor of his wife, Sarah and her mother, Leone. It is intended to bring artists to campus annually to lecture on current trends, methods, media or research within the visual arts. This year's lecture features Agnes Scott alumna, Yehimi Cambron `14, who is an immigrant, activist, and artist. Her rich murals tell stories of the resilience of the immigrant community despite the limitations of their status. A quick google search yields pages and pages of articles, interviews, and highlights of this young artist's rise over only a few years since her graduation.
